[tweetmeme source=”elizabethev” only_single=false]I have been wanting to try this prank for years. Years, my friends. I figured it best to wait until I had a firm life partnership commitment in place, though, just in case things went awry.
Let me tell you, it was well worth the wait. Fortunately Nick found this to be (almost) as funny as I did. Happy April Fool’s Day.

I’ve never done the saran wrap on the toilet trick. However, I have put a rubberband on the handle of the spray nozzle for the kitchen sink, so when you turn on the water, it sprays out. My parents weren’t too happy about that one.
Another one we’ve done is put food coloring in the bottom of a glass (it helps if the glass is a darker color), then when someone pours their drink, it’s the wrong color! Also fun to do on St. Patrick’s Day with green food coloring.
One time my sister switched all the interior bags of cereal into different cereal boxes. Like cheerios inside the raisin bran box, raisin bran inside the rice chex box, etc. That’s a fun one 🙂
Happy April Fools Day! Hope it’s sufficiently foolish! 🙂

It’s hard to describe what went wrong with my prank, maybe it was a little too subtle and not threatening enough. There is nothing subtle about your choice of prank. I’m taking note for next year. (But really, did you have to clean up the pee?)

Yeah, there’s nothing subtle about booby trapping the bathroom. I don’t know how comfortable I feel detailing the clean-up, but let’s just say… the plastic wrap was surprisingly helpful.

Saran wrap on the toilet! LMAO!!! I went to an all girl’s boarding school, this was a prank we did quite often. I’ve been so traumatized by this that to this day I find myself checking. HAHAHA!
