Today: You want garden tools?
I’ll give you garden tools.
Google Analytics is always good for a laugh or two. It seems, beyond the standard (ontapfortoday, on tap for today, www.ontapfortoday.com*, OTFT, on tap today, etc.), the search terms that seem to drive the most traffic to this pathetic blog are (in a particular order):
- garden tools
- gardening tools
- gardentools
- roses
- paper sun flowers
- old garden tools
Amazing… and unfortunate for anyone actually hoping to read about garden tools. Even more amazing, still, are these straight out of left field search terms:
- dingbat font color party flower
- britney spears old body
- sweaty chicken
- my buddha broke (Oof… one of my Buddhas really did break.)
And especially unfortunate:
5. red a book on tap .com
Do you think someone was trying to “read” a book on tape? Yikes. Poor fellow. Hopefully he or she found their misguided visit to On Tap for Today more enjoyable than eating a sweaty chicken next to Britney Spears’ old body.
*I absolutely love when people search for actual website addresses.
Also On Tap for Today:
- Teach another high school class
- Kristine and Christie are in town this weekend!
- Try to stay awake after a 14 hour workday yesterday…
How on earth did you end up here? Did I bribe you? Should I bribe you?

How can people find what they’re looking for with such badly written words ? And why are people coming to your blog when they search for garden tools ?!

I’m not sure how I got to your blog. I liked it and I could subscribe by e-mail, so here I am.
Searches on things Japanese bring people to my blog. It’s funny to me cause when I’m out of sorts and don’t want to write form that place, I write about something Japanese. It makes me very happy.
Does writing about garden tools make you happy?
