Last minute Mother’s Day gifts

Last Minute Larry here with a few Mother’s Day gift ideas. No, it’s not too late, and no, you’re never too old to draw your mom a picture, or make her a macaroni bracelet.

But who wouldn’t love to see this lovely package arrive at their door for Mother’s Day? Everybody Water, a locally-founded company run by two mothers. Along with their charity partner, water 1st, Everybody Water funds clean water projects that directly benefit women and girls– those most often responsible for water collection in areas where water is not readily available. When women and children don’t need to walk for miles and hours to secure water, they can go to school, they can learn, they can earn an income, and their families can thrive.

You can order a case of Everybody Water (which are packaged in fully recyclable cartons instead of bottles) as a one time shipment, or a monthly subscription with a 5% discount. This would make such a lovely gift — and such a nice way to care for the mothers in your life (we all need to stay hydrated, right?), while helping those in need of clean, safe water. I’m always grateful for the opportunity to partner with them, and share the great work they are doing.

I mean, what we really want for Mother’s Day? Naps.

A few more Last Minute Mother’s Day gift ideas:

  • A gift certificate to a laundry service (doesn’t that sound like a dream?!) — Milton Moms recently posted this great review of Laundry Boston, complete with a discount code for Boston-area mamas
  • Mama Beasts is running an incredible Mother’s Day promotion for unlimited classes through June 22nd (you know how much I love these workouts, but even more so the community of mamas) — see this Facebook post for details
  • A Kindle unlimited subscription — I really have to make an effort to carve out reading time, but a good book is such treat. I switch back and forth between library hardcovers, my Kindle, and the Kindle app on my phone– basically sneaking in a few pages when I have the chance. This would be a great last minute gift for a new mom (who else remembers aimlessly scrolling on their phones just to stay awake while breastfeeding at 3 AM?).

Oh, and I was serious about the the drawing + macaroni necklace. You can never go wrong with handmade and heartfelt.

Also On Tap for Today:

  • Rewatching Beyonce’s Homecoming
  • Framing a bunch of the kids’ artwork for the playroom — will share a peek soon!
  • Fitting in a fourth modified workout this week (the knee’s coming along #fingerscrossed)

Got a great last minute gift idea? Let’s hear it! <3
