I'm usually kind of a cheap person and don't really splurge on little treats for myself that often, but lately I've been buying Kindle books if I see one that's only a few dollars that I'm interested in. It feels so good to know that I'm getting something special and new, but it's also not breaking the bank. Laura from The Odd Duck Blog wrote a post a little while ago about how, ever since she started looking at reading as a hobby, she's gotten more comfortable with splurging on books. After reading that post, I've started to look at it the same way. If it's something that I really enjoy... why not spend a few dollars every now and again to make myself happy? Especially when it's something that's actually good for you!

Love this!
