An Irish blessing

An Irish blessing for you, on St. Patrick’s Day:

And also… may you celebrate very quietly on my street in South Boston this evening.  I am tired.  And my shenanigans tolerance level is dangerously low.

Cheers to you and yours.

Did you remember to wear green today?

Today: Happy St. Patrick’s Day.

Our little (French) leprechaun wants to wish you a very happy St. Patrick’s Day.

…but he’s too busy napping.  So please allow me to impart this Irish blessing while he snores the day away.

May God give you
For every storm, a rainbow,
For every tear, a smile,
For every care, a promise,
And a blessing in each trial.
For every problem life sends,
A faithful friend to share,
For every sigh, a sweet song,
And an answer for each prayer.

Happy Saint Patrick’s Day to you.  We’re off to the parade with our pals (and everyone else who has flooded into our neighborhood wearing Irish knits and all their green)!

How are you spending your Sunday?

Today: An (early) Irish blessing.

[tweetmeme source=”elizabethev” only_single=false]While it’s not quite St. Patrick’s Day,  it’s never too early (or too late) to be blessed.

These lovely photos were taken by my brother.

A very happy St. Patrick’s Day to you and yours.
