My dreams of obtaining The King of Pop’s bedazzled glove have been dashed.  Hoffman Ma, a hotelier from Macao, “won” that bad boy for $420,000 (his high bid of $350,000, plus commission).  MJ wore the sparkler the same day he debuted his signature moonwalk in 1983.  I was one and presumably debuting a regular walk.

I mostly just need a new regular pair of gloves, and $420K is just a bit high… especially for only one glove.  Do you think Mr. Ma will bedazzle a second white glove, so he has a matching, functional pair?  Probably unlikely.  Waaaait a minute!  Amazon sells knock offs?  I might just buy one or two online.  $4.99 seems about right.  Maybe I could turn around and auction one off to Mr. Ma!

OK.  I need to stop.  In fact, I probably shouldn’t have started.
